Sammy is a dear little soul who was surrendered to us because his family no longer had time for him. He loves his people and would like to just have someone to love and to love him. His foster Dad says Sammy would do well in a house with other dogs, and adores cats, and with older children. He is secure in himself and polite and does very well when meeting new people. “He loves to play and is full of energy. In the yard with my dogs, he goes crazy. They run around trying to catch one another at super speeds. It is a blast to look at them go. Indoors, he loves to play with toys, especially plush ones, which he throws and runs after. He loves to cuddle and to be petted. It’s very sweet. He very seldom barks. He loves to sleep with me in bed, over the covers at my feet. He has had no accidents in the house. When he needs to go out, he will stare at you and the sneeze!” We have been told Sammy is 13, but with his activity level and his looks, we are checking his age as he seems younger. Overall, Sammy is a great family pet, gentle and happy, playful and active, snuggly and polite, good recall, good in car. His teeth have been cleaned.
